Classic Game Room HD – GRAN TURISMO 3 review PS2
Classic Game Room HD reviews GRAN TURISMO 3 A-SPEC for the Playstation 2 PS2 video game console. This GT3 Gran Turismo 3 review has gameplay footage from Gran Turismo 3. While we all wait for the constantly delayed Gran Turismo 5, revisiting GT3 reminds CGRHD or why I like Gran Turismo to begin with and confuses me as to why they’re so intent on changing it. Gran Turismo 3 is sheer perfect on the Playstation 2. Released in 2001, GT3 has some of the classic Gran Turismo tracks like Deep Forest and Trial Mountain mixed with some new ones, loads of cars like RUF, TVR and the usual Nissans, Fords and Toyotas, and an amazing graphics and physics engine. Gameplay is FUN, fast and awesome. Menus come up quickly with 2D graphics instead of clunky 3D bs, the music in the game rocks instead of sucking. And there’s even a song by Snoop Dogg about Gran Turismo 3 and the awesome Playstation 2! Bring the Gran Turismo series back to its roots Polyphony Digital! Bring the fun back with the full version of Gran Turismo 5 or Gran Turismo 6 on the PS3 or PS4…. is that what you’re waiting for? Playstation 4, bringing Gran Turismo 5 to virtual reality? That would be neat if it was true. GT3 is an amazing game that can be had for a few dollars on the PS2. One of the best video games ever made and one of my favorite driving games. Classic Game Room HD reviews Gran Turismo games as CGRHD has been playing the Gran Tourismo series with gameplay and game play excellence since 1998 when the first …

when I first got my PS2 the only games I had for the first few months was GT3 and GTA3. Both legendary games.

@SergentSamson Thank you, but I do agree that GT3/GT4′s graphics were superior when they first came out.

@MechWarrior324 I agree with you.

@SergentSamson I love the Gran Turismo 3 graphics, but the PS3′s Gran Turismo 5 Prolouge is so much more detailed and realistic, so I definately wouldn’t say GT3 looks as good as a PS3 game. I saw GT5 gameplay at E3, and it even looks a lot better than GT5 Prolouge as well.

I bought Gran Turismo 3 when it came out for the PS2, for about £40. Great game and kept me going for ages. I eventually lost interest when I bought GT4 (I was younger then), and sold GT3 for £4. Bought it again yesterday for 99p. Worth it but that damn MR2 in the beginner races pisses me off.

i got GT3 only in 2007, but only now in 2010 starting to get 100% completion.

GT 1 I still play now i have GT 3 Which is the same menus thats what i love , GT4 is an amazing game just like all the others but the menus didnt make me feel like this is the Gran Turismo i played when i was 9 , the complicated menus , i couldnt figure out what i was missing . GT5P Has the most amazing graphics and physics ive ever played with . But the menu was soo verry disappointing , Hopefully GT5 will bring back the old menus style and feel .

The graphics of GT3 were jaw-dropping in 2001. That kind of graphic would’ve been a 2006 or 2007 racing game for PC or PS3. Damn, I wish I have Gran Turismo 3 for the PS2 which I don’t have sadly.

@FunkFunk12 i found 4 to be a bit all over the place and slightly more challenging i definately had more fun with 3
4 had the stupid like, challenge mode races or wateva, they were ok but really dificult

@JordanUH I have both GT3 and GT4 for the ps2 and I have to say GT3 is a classic but IMO more challenging then GT4.

@theemceemurdah It’s similar to GT5P

Looks like a lot of fun. I never played the early GT games but I do have a PS3 so I will play GT5. I used to play Forza 2 on my friends XBOX until his dog ate it =D. I only had a Gamecube so I played Mario Kart for my early childhood.
I personally think GT5 is going to be really fun. When I play GT5P, I love looking at the gameplay and immerse myself in a realistic looking car.

I miss the old design, the new design is terrible in my opinion.

if you want pure FUN in racing games you get an arcade racer
GT aims to be more about driver sim, so now that technology allows them, they can make it way more detailed and realistic
though i agree with your point, gt3 was way more “fun” than 4, though 4 was amazing

@84Bronco351 Yes, theyre just way overrated.. you should get them into other company’s supercars, like pagani, or in some cases honda and toyota.

These menus were the best. Not a huge fan of the GT5 Prologue menus..let’s hope they change it when the final game is released.
